RustySearch Relevancy Challenge: First Results
(rt) First results of the white label search engine RustySearch and its users’ evaluations are in: seems that perceived relevancy is distributed more or less evenly between Yahoo!, MSN, AskJeeves and Google. Which, if representative (these are just preliminary findings, after all), indicates that Google has rapidly lost grounds to its competitors: remember the days when almost everyone you asked would rave for hours about how “relevant” Google’s search results were compared to the other contenders?
