Click Fraud Victims File Class Action Suit
(rt) While this site’s design is one of the crappiest we have seen for years, we still feel we should link to it because after all, “content is king” …
But seriously: Lost Clicks is a web site for people who want to join in a class action against click fraud, suing the search engines. Here’s what they say:
We need your help!
Click fraud is becoming a significant concern for advertisers who rely upon the Internet for sales. Web log analysis can flag suspect click-throughs by identifying patterns in which the clicks on certain pay-per-click (PPC) ads are not being made by bona fide consumers. When search engines charge advertisers and collect revenues for these clicks, advertisers get cheated.
We have filed a national class action in Miller County, Arkansas against a number of the major search engines alleging that they are collecting fees for PPC advertising they’re not providing. The Wall Street Journal and other media outlets have written about our lawsuit.
If you have information about click fraud, have not been given answers or your money back from the search engines for suspected click fraud or you suspect Click Fraud and need to investigate, e-mail us at info@fineberglaw.com.
Wish they would get someone to design a decent web site or a blog for them – help they might need the most to get started, if only to get the media on their side instead of scaring the horses with “click here!” animated banners and other pot ugly early 90s design elements.
And sorry, folks, if you’re too clueless to spam-protect your e-mail address against harvester bots by uni-encoding it (for free, at that!) with our → fantomas mailShield™, don’t expect us to do it for you …
