Depersonalizing Google Search
If you’re leery about Google gobbling up all your personal data including your search history and other habits you’d prefer to keep for yourself (as well you should be), Joost de Valk had developed some neat IE7 and Firefox plugins for download on his site: “Google Search Plugin without Personalized Search”
It allows you to depersonalize your search history without having to log out of Google - very hand, too, when your search resulty are skewed by what Google thinks should be more relevant to your individual mindset.
And beyond all privacy concerns, as Eric Lander points out here, it can be quite frustrating if your clients are seeing different search results from yours.
