Buying Blog Comments For Link Building?
Justin Goldberg over at Threadwatcher points us to a recently launched service offering to boost your link building by posting ”non-spammy” blog comments on any niche of your chosing.
Sounds like a good idea with a huge market potential. The only peeve we have with this, however, is that they tend to trivialize the NOFOLLOW tag issue a mite more than seems justified (”no problem” is what they’re essentially saying). On the other hand they do commit to at least attempting to post only to blogs that have not adopted that tag which is kind of contradictory.
More seriously, however, all you’ll get to define when you sign up is one measly URL and anchor text to make them link to - but pushing 100, 500 or 1000 links at a single page with non-varying anchor text doesn’t really strike us as being the brightest of SEO ideas.
Else, pricing is very moderate, though we really wouldn’t want to incur these risks on any serious money making site of ours. Still, if you want to check them out, feel free to do so here.
