Spam A(r)chiver Gives You the Blueprints
Want to see successful black hats’ SEO techniques served on a platter? Need to analyze what they’ve done to outrank you?
This Polish site offers regularly updated historic Google SERPs and cached copies of some highly competitive (ok, and spam driven) search terms.
Here’s their take:
There’s a quite popular belief, that Black-Hat Spammers are the ones who set up new trends in Search Engine Optimization. It is said that they are constantly working to optimize their sites and finding any tiny little things that would help achieving higher rankings. For example, they were possibly the first ones to discover connection between links and rank in Google.
So… why can’t we observe them in action?
This site – “SPAM Archiver” – checks regularly Google SERP’s for the most spammy keywords like “Buy viagra” and tries to grab cached by Google copies of Top10 sites.
Cached material (not always successfully snapped – seems that quite a few sites are – expectably – employing effective cache busters) can be downloaded as tarballs.
Far be it from us, of course, that you use these snapshots as blueprints for your nefarious black hat activities… Though if you do, be warned – more often than not, not all will be quite what it seems to convey. After all, they’re a notoriously tricky crowd, those black hats. 
For the experienced master of the black arts, however, it’s a pretty cool resource.
