The SEO Poetry Slam: Submit a Haiku, Get a Link

At the BigOak SEO blog, Shell Harris has posted a piece (dated February 7 2007 but sphunn only now) featuring SEO haikus, soliciting contributions either as comments or via e-mail. After moderator’s approval, credit links will be duly FOLLOWED.

But all that linking craze apart, it’s a cute idea worth following up in its own right. So if you’re into poetry at all (be it actively or mereky as a reading afficionado), chances are you’ll enjoy this stuff.

Here’s one by yours truly:

silver web site summer moon
in fall ranks will drop

So is SEO really an art, as Shell will have it? That’s obviously up for debate, but don’t let it spoil the fun for you! After all, SEOs do not live by links alone…
