Unlimited Free TK Domains and Throwaway E-Mail Addresses
After a somewhat flunked start in recent times, the good folks at Dot.TK are at it again with a vastly improved approach.
Here’s what you can get from them currently:
- Unlimited free .TK domains (reserved for you over 12 months)
- 250 freely definable throwaway e-mail addresses per domain: these are redirect only, of course, but can come in very handy if you’re trying to fend off spam or hide your tracks e.g. when registering those nefarious black hat sites.
One minor catch there is, though: Free domains will expire after 90 days when less than twenty-five (25) users have been to your website. Shouldn’t be too difficult to ramp up that kind of traffic volume, though.
So if you’re perfectly anal about actually owning owning owning your own domains or squatting on them no matter the amount of traffic they may pull, you can upgrade to paid status: 2 years for €19.90 or roughly $29 isn’t really unreasonable considering that this TLD space still has many, many nifty names to offer.
