Spying on Your PPC Competitors’ Keywords, And Lots More
Here’s something new from the Cool Tool department. You might be forgiven for thinking that Pay Per Click (PPC) sneak-and-peak applications are really a dime a dozen these days, and it’s quite true that any serious search will reveal more of them than you can shake your cursor at.
But as usual, no tool is created equal, and the one we’d like to point you to here is a brilliant case in point:
Sure, PPC Web Spy allows you to spy on your PPC competitors’ bids, the number of clicks they’re getting, etc. which is excellent for thorough market analysis even if you’re not actually participating in the PPC racket. After all, if a PPC advertiser keeps bidding premium money for any which terms consistently, chances are that they’re turning a neat profit – meaning that such search phrases may well be worth targeting on the organic search front as well.
But way beyond that, PWS lets you conduct incredibly granular in depth research of related search phrases and their respective value for whichever campaigns you may be mulling over.
This aside, it’s also a pretty inventive and viral tool that lets you put your own affiliate links at the very top of Google’s search results, no matter the niche or market!
It’s a Firefox plugin (what the Mozilla crowd prefer to dub an “addin”), so you’ll be restricted to this specific browser, but in our view that’s a small price to pay in view of what you’ll be coughing up for the basic version. Which is specifically: nada, zilch, nothing.
Yes, there’s two optional (paid) upgrade levels that offer more functionality and sales revenue sharing, but even without going for those versions you’ll find it’s a very neat and handy tool to assist you in your search marketing efforts.
